History
Hunter Group (formerly RD Hunter &
Company LLC) was established by
Robert D. Hunter in 1956
in Paramus, New Jersey. While Mr. Hunter
passed away in June, 2004, his leadership, dynamic business skills and personality are still a benchmark
for personal service utilized by our firm. The practice is currently led by Thomas P. McNabola, CPA, who, in January, 2002 replaced Robert Mathers CPA, as managing partner. Mr. Mathers now
directs our corporate tax
services operations.
Over the last five decades, Hunter Group has maintained growth by
concentrating on delivering personalized accounting, auditing, tax, and management
advisory services to a diverse clientele, including institutional, industrial, financial,
commercial and retail, professional, distribution, wholesale and not-for-profit
operations.
Hunter Group is also a founding member of
CPAmerica International, a 28 year-old Florida-based network of over 70
mid-sized peer-reviewed CPA firms located across America. Together, this
network provides Hunter with service expertise in virtually every major US
city. In addition, CPAmerica has and international agreement with Horwath
International, a relationship that Hunter can tap when our clients require
services or technical expertise in other parts of the world.
