Business Valuations Expert Scott A. Richards Joins Hunter 

Hunter Group is pleased to announce the addition of Scott A. Richards as Senior Manager in our firm’s business valuations team.  A senior financial executive with extensive experiences in business and securities valuation and consulting, Mr. Richards has relocated his business valuation practice to Hunter Group effective July 6, 2009.  Most recently, Scott Richards was Senior Vice President at FMV Opinions, Inc. in New York City.

Scott will work closely with Hunter Group Director Michael A. Gould, concentrating on advancing the business valuations practice, which is a growing area of specialty for the firm. Valuations are required for a wide range of reasons, including matrimonial and shareholder disputes, mergers and acquisitions, insurance, estate planning and financial reporting purposes

A finance graduate of Susquehanna University, Scott also attended Rutgers Graduate School of Management. He was formerly Senior Vice President of FMV Opinions, a national business valuations firm. Prior to this position, Mr. Richards was with Management Planning, Inc. in Princeton, New Jersey for over twenty years, earning various promotions to become a Vice President in the firm in 1999.  Mr. Richards has written and published articles on various valuation topics, presented to industry groups on valuations and ownership succession and has provided expert testimony before courts on business valuation matters.
